The government's putting up charges for airports - but only for far-flung destinations.
In Tynwald next week, Treasury Minister Alf Cannan will ask members to approve the air passenger duty hike.
He wants to put up the higher rate of APD from £75 in standard class to £78.
The higher rate is paid when passengers book for destinations more than 2,000 miles away from London - other rates remain unchanged.
