Should charities be able to apply for more money given to government from unused bank accounts?
When Tynwald sits in March, Douglas North MHK David Ashford will ask members to vote that the government's dormant assets fund, effectively run by the lottery trust, be given the power to hand out bigger grants.
If successful, the move would mean the Treasury could distribute cash handed over to the government from financial companies.
At present, the government takes the cash after it's been untouched for 15 years and hands it out via the lottery trust.
