A local food business has thanked customers who've been donating cash to help it meet a huge tax bill.
Meximann, a food van in the White Hoe Car Park in Braddan, says it should have registered for VAT but down to an accountancy oversight and other factors, they didn't - leading to the massive invoice.
It's been asking its customers for donations to pay the VAT and ensure its survival - and says it's raised hundreds of pounds each month since it launched.
The business says the donations are helping it to survive and thanked those who've helped and adds MexiMann will match it for local charity once its finished with HMRC obligations.
