A recruitment firm in the south of the island said there is high demand for accountants, tax professionals and Trust and Corporate Service providers.
Triumph Recruitment said IT professionals are also sought after.
Branch Manager, Natalie Kermode said it is not uncommon for these jobs to be filled by overseas candidates if companies are unsuccessful in their on-island searches.
She added that the rise in coronavirus cases has left many firms operating reduced hours or with a skeleton workforce.
Despite this, some recruitment drives have been put on hold due to problems arranging face-to-face interviews.
