An executive agency of the Department for Enterprise has appointed a new senior figure to its board.
Sue Preskey has been confirmed as the new Non-Executive Chair of Finance Isle of Man, taking over from Aidan Doherty who's stepping down from the role which he's served in for the last two years.
Mr Doherty will continue to act as Non-Executive Chair of the board until December before his successor then takes over the position.
Managing Director of local corporate service provider The Law Trust Limited, she has over 30 years’ experience in the UK and international financial services as both a practitioner and a regulator.
Among her other experience, Sue has previously chaired local branches of The London Institute of Banking & Finance and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and is also a committee member of the Isle of Man Institute of Directors.
Commenting on the move, Mr Doherty says: "As I step down as Chair I am delighted to leave the agency board in the capable hands of Sue Preskey, who brings with her a wealth of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm.
"The next 12 months will be a crucial time for Finance Isle of Man to deliver its ambitious goals and I wish Sue and the agency all the best for the future."
