The Department for Enterprise is proposing changes to the Island's employment laws.
It comes following a public consultation, which covered areas such as family rights, zero hour contracts and whistleblowing.
Changes put forward include introducing rights to shared parental leave and aligning whistleblowing law with the UK.
The department says there are plans to consult on further matters over the next year.
