One of the best-known banking landmarks on the Island will get new protection - if planners give the go-ahead.
Isle of Man Bank has applied for planning permission and registered building consent to make changes at its flagship Athol Street branch.
It wants to replace a structure over the building which protects the stained glass dome over the main banking floor.
In its application, it says the work would also mean moving equipment and altering a fire escape walkway.
