Two businessmen have been ordered to pay £75,000 in legal costs after they were disqualified from being directors.
Jamie and Jonathan Irving were banned from holding directorships for seven and eight years respectively.
The duo argued no decision should be taken about costs until after they'd completed the appeal process.
Deemster Christie, however, said the pair were liable for the legal costs the Financial Services Authority incurred when it took the case to court - estimated to be almost £185,000.
