The government has spent £1.38 million investing in companies to create 109 jobs over the next five years.
Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly was asked about a new £50 million investment fund in Tynwald last week.
He told the court a number of companies had already successfully applied for a share of the cash, and more deals are on the way.
