This years Manx Litfest has been cancelled due to the ongoing restrictions around Coronavirus.
The event had been scheduled to take place from September 22-27, and has previously welcomed authors, poets and illustrators from across Britain to join Island-based writers for the occasion.
Manx Litfest Director, John Quirk, says whilst at present the Island situation is fairly positive, there is still too much uncertainty for the months ahead, making planning the occasion an impossible task.
However, he adds the majority of those who had been due to come over this year are happy to come across for the 2021 event - dates for that will be announced in due course.
