Zoe Gillings secures 4th place world cup finish

Isle of Man based snowboarding star Zoe Gillings secured a 4th place at the latest world cup snowboard cross event in Switzerland yesterday.

Her world cup campaigns have seen steady improvement each time, with a previous 10th and a 7th place finish.

The past year has been a significant struggle for Zoe as she overcame injury and devised ways to fund her own Snowboard program after Snowsport GB went into administration.

The Britain no 1 will now head to the X-Games event in Colorado for her next Snowboard cross competition.
