Noble's Hospital has a zero tolerance approach to violence and aggression towards staff in A and E.
That’s the message from the Department of Health after Middle MHK Howard Quayle asked what procedures were in place to protect workers from those under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Figures revealed in the House of Keys show there have been 16 serious incidents in the last year but only one relating to someone who was intoxicated.
