A local authority in the west of the Island is getting young people involved in local politics - with a young commissioner scheme.
Michael Commissioners say children and young people can get involved with making decisions on local issues for the board to consider.
The pupils from Michael Primary School will meet each school half-term, following an agenda in the same way the board does.
Already they've raised concerns about dog fouling, while they're out playing with friends, and will have a say about the recreational areas of Kirk Michael.
