The Young Nature Writer competition invited budding nature enthusiasts to explore their Biosphere and write about what they found.
8 year old Kayleigh Cannon has been announced as this year's winner, with ten year old Delta Baptist earning 'Best Bird' winner after writing about the observatory on the Calf of Man.
MHK Dr Michelle Haywood, who helped judge the entries, says connecting people with nature and encouraging them to understand it, enjoy it and take care of it is a major role of a UNESCO Biosphere.
