Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping today.
It's in place from 10.45am until 2.45pm on Wednesday, January 21.
Forecasters say areas most likely to be affected include Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey promenades and parts of Shore Road in Rushen.
They add Castletown Promenade may also be hit, but this is less likely.
