A yellow weather warning is in place for coastal overtopping today.
Ronaldsway Met Office is says it will run from 10am until 2pm.
It says parts of Douglas promenade, Castletown and Laxey promenades, and to a lesser extent Ramsey promenade, are expected to be affected.
There's also a warning being considered for Monday, but the forecast is still uncertain.
