The Met Office has issued a weather warning for tonight that runs into tomorrow.
A yellow warning has been issued for frost and ice.
Forecasters say higher grounds are most at risk as well as well as sheltered low-lying spots in central and western parts of the island.
The warning runs from 6pm tonight until 11am tomorrow.
