A yellow weather warning will come into force later today for certain parts of the Island.
Ronaldsway Met Office is warning of strong winds which may cause water and debris to splash onto exposed roads and promenades.
Officials say the areas likely to be affected are in Douglas between Summerland and the War Memorial, Shore Road, Bay ny Carrickey and Castletown Promenade.
The notice will run from 11am today until 3am tomorrow.
