Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Forecasters say fresh to strong winds and spring high tides means the possibility of coatal overtopping around the Island's coastline.
Particularly at risk are Shore Road in Rushen, Castletown Promenade, the northern end of Douglas Promenade, as well as Laxey and Ramsey Promenades.
The warning runs from midnight until 4am.
