A yellow warning for heavy rain is in place across the Island.
The notice came into force at 02:00 this morning and will run until midnight tonight.
'Heavy downpours' are forecast alongside strong to gale force 50mph winds.
Motorists are warned the gusts and rain could create difficult driving conditions, so to take care on roads.
