There’s been a significant reduction in the number of people arrested for drink driving.
Throughout a month long winter campaign – which ran between December 5th and January 2nd – 12 people were arrested.
Three of those have been charged, five were found to be under the limit and four have been bailed pending further enquiries.
During the same time in the 2012/2013 19 people were arrested and 16 people were charged.
