Four people have been arrested in the UK after trying to scam a Manx pensioner.
The 76 year old woman went to police after sending a package of money to an address in Northampton, and Manx officers contacted their counterparts in England.
The Northamptonshire Police Economic Crime Unit watched as the package was delivered to a woman, then passed on to a couple the next day.
Two women aged 19 and 25 and two men aged 27 and 30 were arrested and the money recovered has been returned to the victim.
