Work to improve the Manx Electric Railway Station in Laxey will get underway in the near future.
Tynwald has approved funding for a Community, Culture and Leisure scheme to renew the track through the station.
It's in an effort to ensure the railway remains fit for purpose and to make the area safer.
Regeneration plans are also in place to transform the Rose Garden and the coach park.
It's hoped the works will give visitors to the village a better first impression.
