The infrastructure minister says works on the capital’s horse tramway will likely not be completed in time for the attraction’s 150th anniversary.
Douglas Bay Horse Tramway posted the announcement on social media this week.
Michelle Haywood explained her department was still working on a 'business case' to present to the Treasury.
The Tramway added Tynwald approval would also be needed for funding to install tracks which would be suitable for electric trams in the future.
