Peel's finally getting its new sewage treatment plant - with work starting this week.
The facility, off Glenfaba Road, has been planned for years but suffered numerous delays.
It means the beginning of the end for untreated sewage being dumped into the sea off Peel beach.
Manx Utilities posted to its Facebook page this week as work began on the site.
