Work has started to help prevent flooding in areas of Onchan.
Residents have been pushing for the government and commissioners to do something about the serious flooding that affects their properties.
The commissioners asked the Department of Infrastructure and Manx Utility Authority in November to start their work in Hackett Close so other works could get started
Yesterday Chairman Robin Turton confirmed the MUA started their stage of the works:
