Work Progressing Well on Landslide Hit Bay View Road
Work is continuing on the Bay View Road in Port St Mary following the landslide nearly 2 weeks ago.
The first phase of underpinning the land is now completed and work into phase 2 is well underway and proceeding well.
The road is currently being excavated to expose, and fill the void.
Further stretches of road will also be renewed meaning the infrastructure will remain stable for a longer term.
It's anticipated work will be done by next week with the road ready for reopening by next weekend.
