Work on Greeba damage now completed

Work to replace a damaged high voltage electricity pole in Greeba has now been successfully completed.

Full electricity supplies were restored by late yesterday afternoon but the MEA say that anyone who is still experiencing interferences with their supply to contact them immediately.

The damage was caused on Saturday morning after which all electricity was switched off immediately, affecting 213 customers between St. John’s and West Baldwin.

However, this number was reduced to just 46 people within 35 minutes.
