Celeb Chef Tells 3FM He Is Disappointed With Outcome
After an election campaign that became more about the behind the scenes going on that his policies Kevin Woodford has told 3FM that his third place finish in last nights by-election has left him feeling like he has wasted his time.
The celebrity chef's campaign has been dogged by controversy from the offset when it emerged he was being financially backed by a group of people who wanted to remain anonymous.
The police launched an investigation after allegations of corrupt or illegal practices in the election.
He said that allegations that led to his campaign team being arrested were unfounded.
Kevin said he was most of his time was spent defending his campaign and is disappointed at the outcome.
