University College Isle of Man is involved in a new research project exploring women in Manx politics.
Four academics from the Island and the UK are working on the project, funded by Culture Vannin, to look at the experience of women in Tynwald.
The team will interview women who stood for election and those who considered standing, and explore their experience through the campaign process and as members of Tynwald.
