Two Liverpool women charged with trying to smuggle heroin to the Island have been remanded in custody.
Jaine Elizabeth Beech of Hahnemann Road and Tracey Solan of Andrews Street appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
Both deny one charge each of producing the class A drug and possessing it with intent to supply it on January 16.
There were no bail applications and both 39 year old Miss Beech and 46 year old Miss Solan were remanded in custody at the Isle of Man Prison.
They’re both due to appear again at a committal hearing on March 31.
