A woman who bit two paramedics at Ramsey Cottage Hospital has been handed a suspended jail term.
Kimberley Cherianne Collister of Bucks Road in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 32 year old admitted two counts of assaulting the medical staff on September 27 2021.
After hearing Collister had convictions for assaulting police officers, Mrs Hughes told her the courts have repeatedly made it clear anyone assaulting emergency service workers can expect prison terms.
She jailed Collister for 20 weeks, suspended for two years, and ordered her to spend two years under the supervision of the probation service.
She'll also have to pay £50 prosecution costs.
