A woman who drove her car over a cliff onto rocks at Scarlett has thanked her rescuers.
Christian writer Ruth took to Twitter to explain what had happened after the emergency services freed her from her overturned vehicle on Sunday.
She suffered a cracked vertebra after she couldn't stop her car while parking at the beauty spot in Castletown.
On her blog, she said she'd been released from Noble's Hospital after treatment.
She said she felt lucky to be alive after the incident.
Hello everyone, sorry to drop out for a while. I wrote off our car yesterday. Couldn't stop when parking above the sea. Went straight over the cliff on to rocks below. So many people get me out. Can't believe I'm alive, with just a cracked vertebra, bruises, pain and shock. XxxxX
