Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted by a man in Douglas on Sunday.
It happened at around 2am outside the Villa Marina.
Police say they believe it was an unprovoked attack which resulted in the woman receiving sustained swelling to the face.
Anyone who saw what happened has been asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631212.
