A local woman who completed a big challenge on New Year's Day has raised over £8,500 for charity.
Connie Watson organised the 'up, down, dip,' which saw around 40 residents climb Snaefell before heading down to Laxey to take part in the New Year dip.
After losing her mum to cancer last year, Connie has been raising money for the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group.
She says it was a brilliant way to start the new year, and thanks the public for their generous donations.
