Douglas coastguard were kept busy during last night's TT firework display - as they rescued a woman in the sea.
The woman entered the water near Douglas War Memorial just as the fireworks began, but quickly got into difficulties.
Police were unable to reach her and she couldn't reach lifebelts thrown by members of the public.
Two coastguard rescue swimmers went into the water to rescue her - they brought her back to shore to be treated in a nearby ambulance.
