A woman’s admitted her part in trying to bring more than 2,000 illegal tablets to the Isle of Man.
Katie Francis O’Brien of Demesne Road in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to being concerned in the production of class C drugs to the Island and possessing diazepam on July 27.
The court heard a parcel containing 2,057 anti-anxiety tablets was intercepted on July 28 addressed to O’Brien, who was later arrested in her home.
She said she’d agreed to accept the parcel to wipe out a £60 debt but didn’t know what was inside it.
Prosecutor Barry Swain told the court the tablets were worth between 50p and £1 each.
Magistrates bailed her in the sum of £500 and she’ll appear in court again on August 19.
