A woman who was paid 20 per cent less than the Island's minimum wage by a clothes shop has won more than £660 in compensation.
Lesley-Ann Watkinson went to an employment tribunal alleging ID Clothing on Broadway in Douglas paid her just £6 an hour when she worked there for around four months last year.
Samantha Etchells, who runs the company, didn't respond to the tribunal - which found she hadn't given her employee written terms, had underpaid her and had withheld holiday pay.
The body awarded her a total of £663.60.
