A woman fraudulently claimed nearly £67,000 in benefits after failing to declare she was working.
Jillian McGrath, of Crossag Terrace in Ballasalla, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 61 year old admitted seven counts of fraud between 2018 and 2023 when she didn't tell officials she was working and had a savings account.
In total, she dishonestly claimed £66,863.
Mrs Braidwood said the case was so serious it would be heard in the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
She bailed McGrath in the sum of £500 to appear in the higher court on May 19.
