A woman's been fined after she was caught behind the wheel of her Mercedes with no driving licence.
La-Keisha Bates of Heather Crescent in Pulrose pleaded guilty by post when her case was called by Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
The 21 year old admitted having no license on Battery Pier in Douglas on May 7.
The court heard police stopped her after she drove past them at 3.40am and checks showed the Lloyds Pharmacy worker had only a provisional licence.
In a letter, she apologized to the court and said she planned to sit her test in August because needed a driving licence for her job.
She was fined £120 and ordered to pay £50 costs as well as having two points put on her licence.
