Woman faces trial for acts against public justice

A woman accused of creating fake abusive phone messages to implicate somebody else will face trial in November.

Amy Burns of Harcroft Meadows appeared before Deemster Kainth at Douglas Courthouse.

The 39-year-old denies committing an act against public justice on July 14, 2020.

She was bailed in the sum of £500 on condition she doesn't contact witnesses, and is next due to appear at the start of her week-long trial on November 21.
