A young woman has died following a serious crash in Santon on Friday.
Police have confirmed 19-year-old Katie Robley died as a result of injuries sustained in the two-vehicle crash on the New Castletown Road near the Santon Motel at around 10.30pm on October 25.
Her boyfriend, Jay Waters - who was also involved in the incident - remains in a critical but stable condition.
Authorities say investigations remain ongoing and are asking people to respect the privacy of the families at this time.
Meanwhile, the families are thanking the constabulary and hospital staff for their efforts and support during that evening.
