A Willaston woman accused of falsely claiming more than £35,000 in benefits will stand trial at a Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Jessica Lynn Cracknell of Cushag Road in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
She denies eight counts of making false representations to obtain benefits between April 2018 and August 2019.
Mrs Hughes committed her to the higher court to stand trial at a date to be fixed, and extended legal aid.
Reporting restrictions were not lifted.
