A woman caught stealing stock and cash from the bakery she worked in will be sentenced in July.
Laura Marie Arnold of River View in Ramsey appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 31 year old pleaded guilty to one count of theft at Home Bakery on Parliament Street between April 24 and 29.
Prosecutor Barry Swain told the hearing the business owner had called police after finding financial discrepancies, and an investigation found she’d stolen £647 worth of stock and money.
Mrs Hughes asked for probation reports to be prepared and bailed Arnold in the sum of £500 until she appears again for sentencing on July 11.
