A woman who’s said to have tried to throw a TV at her husband during a violent argument has been bailed.
Roxanne O’Brien of Ballachurry Close in Onchan appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
She has not not yet entered a plea to assaulting her partner on August 10 at their home.
The court heard the 31-year-old began rowing with her husband because he hadn’t taken a day off work – but the argument escalated when she grabbed him by the throat, scratching and punching him.
She was bailed in the sum of £250 on condition she doesn’t try to contact her alleged victim, and she’ll appear in court again on August 26.
