A woman’s been awarded more than £500 in court costs after charges against her were dropped.
Gillian Maria Phillips of Bay View Road in Port St Mary appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 54-year-old faced allegations of provoking behaviour and disorderly behaviour on April 17, but prosecutor James Robinson said the case had been reviewed and there was no realistic prospect of conviction.
He offered no evidence and magistrates marked the charges dismissed as well as awarding £564 in defence costs.
