A woman who rehomes pets is appealing to landlords to stop forcing tenants to choose between accommodation and their furry friends.
Anita Williams took to Facebook to encourage more landlords to allow pets in properties, saying she's seen a huge rise in the number of pets being given up by people who can't find homes that will accept them.
She says among the people she's trying to help are a man who's sleeping in his van and one who's staying in a shed because they can't bring themselves to give up their pets.
Anita says landlords could charge higher deposits if they're worried, and claims fewer rental properties than ever will allow pets.
