Witnesses sought to New Years Eve assault

Witnesses are being sought to an assault which took place on New Years Eve.

It involved two men and took place at the traffic lights near to the Rosemount Public House at approximately 10.20pm. 

As a result of the assault one man needed treatment at Hospital.

It's thought a number of members of the public were present at the time, some who separated the men, and some who were present in their cars.
