Witnesses sought to assault on Market Street

Police are investigating an assault that took place in the area of Market Street Douglas on Friday 23rd September.

Police Officers are appealing for witnesses to the assault, which took place shortly before 11.15pm on the night in question.

The victim had to be treated for facial injuries suffered during the attack.

The police are now keen to trace a group of youths witnessed running from the scene, they’re described as being of ages ranging from 9 to 16, it consisted of 12 males and 3 females.
