The constabulary is currently looking into a break-in at Douglas Snooker Club on Ballaquayle Road which happened during the early hours of Wednesday this week (August 26).
Just after midnight the following day (August 27) Police and firefighters were called to the same venue to find a part of the building on fire in what is believed to have been an arson attack - no-one was injured.
Now, authorities want to speak to anyone who saw what happened or has any details about both incidents.
Those who can help are asked to contact CID at Police Headquarters on 631 212 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
